      McCartney Produce sales representative Larry Wayne McCuiston, 56, of Buchanan died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008, at his residence. The cause of the death has not been given.

      The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the McCuiston Cemetery at New Concord.

      McCartney Produce employees will serve as pallbearers.

      Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday.

      Born Feb. 25, 1952, in Fulton, Ky., he was a son of the late Joseph Woodrow McCuiston and Ruby June Hedge McCuiston.

      He was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church in New Concord and a member of Sons of Confederate Veterans. A family member said he loved horses.

      He leaves one son: Jimmy Wayne McCuiston of Orlando, Fla.; one daughter: Michelle (Andrew) Rawls f Springfield; one sister: Debbie (Jeff) Delaney of Murray; a half sister: Martha Lou Darby of Pine Bluff, Ark.; two brothers: Chris (Beverly) McCuiston of Goodlettsville and Donnie (Carol) McCuiston of Buchanan; a half brother: Mason McCuiston of Murray and a grandchild: Courtney McCuiston of Orlando.

      He also was preceded in death by three half brothers: Lindell Hutson, Joe Donald McCuiston and Mack Arthur McCuiston.
