      Rosemary McCuistian, age 68, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2015. Born in San Antonio, TX on February 8, 1947, she was the daughter of Fidel and Belia Hernandez. A resident of Fair Oaks Ranch since November 1993, she was a member of First Baptist Church of Boerne. Preceded in death by her parents and son, Ian, Rosemary is survived by her husband of nearly 44 years, Marion "Mac" McCuistian; brothers, Rudy Hernandez (Susan), Ray Hernandez (Patsy), and Rene Hernandez. Her San Antonio nieces and nephews include Ray, Rachael, Elizabeth, Sara, Lisa and Matthew. Rosemary has many relatives in Oregon whom she loved. Rosemary was a person of faith, character and principle and who was a delight to those who loved her. Special thanks to the ALS UT Medical Center headed by Dr. Carlayne Jackson and to the dedicated employees of Encompass Hospice who greatly assisted in Rosemary's care. Those who wish to make contributions in Rosemary's name are requested to contribute to ALS Association, Texas Chapter, 4939 DeZavala Rd., Ste. 105, San Antonio, TX 78249. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 28 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Vaughan's Funeral Home, 319 E. San Antonio Ave., Boerne, TX 78006. The Funeral Service will be on Thursday, October 29 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Boerne. Interment will follow in the Boerne Cemetery.
