      Stauffer, Jean Dafoe, of Ft. Lauderdale, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2011. Born in Watoma, WI. in 1911, she and husband, Rev. Clarence C. Stauffer, moved to Wilton Manors in 1943 where he founded the First Christian Church of Wilton Manors. Jean served 27 years as organist & choir director for the church. She also directed the Little Peoples Preschool for 25 years. She was widely recognized as an outstanding teacher, who enabled her students to excel. Jean is survived by her loving family; sons, Dr. C. Roy Stauffer of TN and Dr. John (Pat) Stauffer of Wilton Manors; daughters, Jean Alice (Gunther) Prehn and Cora S. (William) Sawyer, both of TN; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 1 PM, Tuesday, Feb. 8th in the First Christian Church of Wilton Manors. In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy may be made to the Jean Stauffer Memorial Fund, First Christian Church 2725 NE 14 Ave. Wilton Manors, FL 33334.
