Una Mae "Jean" Ligon passed away January 2, 2014. She was born on April 4, 1925 in Brownfield, TX to Don and Rosa (Berry) McCuistion. During her life, Jean was a civil servant, worked as a telephone operator for the Veteran's Hospital, and she enjoyed doing yardwork, gardening, and attending church at Southwest Church of Christ.
Jean was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, George W. Ligon; her parents; and sisters Julia McCuistion and Bonnie Stark.
Jean is survived by her sons, Larry Ligon and wife Jane, and Stan Ligon; brother, Robert McCuistion; and sisters, Violet Randolph, Lenore Burgess, Marguerite Byerly, and Rosemary Thomas.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 11AM-6PM and Sunday 8AM-8PM. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 6 at 2PM at the Southwest Church of Christ, 3031 SW 104th St in Oklahoma City.
