Ernest “Mac” H. McQuesten, Jr., 82, passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021, at South County Hospital. Mac was the son of Ernest (Howard) and Verna McQuesten and grew up in North Reading, Massachusetts.
Mac resided in Charlestown, Rhode Island, with his wife, Joyce McQuesten. His son, Jonathan, daughter-in-law, Jennette, and granddaughter, Jordan live in Colorado. He is survived by four of his siblings, Ricky, Wendy, Wayne, and Gilly.
Mac served 31 years in the Navy and also retired from General Services Administration in Washington, D.C.
Mac and his wife eventually moved to Rhode Island to enjoy their retirement.
Mac enjoyed working in his garden. He also enjoyed meeting new people and getting to socialize and hangout. Mac enjoyed traveling the world with his wife by going on cruises and traveling to Colorado to be with his family.
Funeral arrangements will be private.
