Retha Mae Potter, 79, of Bowling Greendied Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018 in Bowling Green.
Funeral services were held atBibb-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green Saturday at noon with SteveGregory officiating. Burial was at Fairview Cemetery in Ashley.
Visitation was at the funeral from 10a.m., until the time of the service.
Retha was born Sept. 10, 1939 inJapton, Ark. the daughter of Charles and Pearlie Ann McConnellMcChristian.
Retha was survived by three daughters,Alberta Crenshaw of Vandalia, Velma Allen of Perry, and Brenda Trowerof Vandalia; one son, Richie Potter and wife, Amber of Bowling Green;a sister, Veda Price and husband, Charles of Louisiana; a brother,Ewell McChristian and wife, Violet of Louisiana; 12 grandchildren andeight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by herparents; a son, Charles Edward Potter; nine siblings; and threegrandchildren, Jason Crenshaw, Amanda Potter and Christina Potter.
Retha was a member of the Church ofChrist in Ashley. She loved both her job and her customers at B&BPizza where she was employed for over 30 years.
She enjoyed shopping, watching Youngand the Restless, drinking coffee and making hamburgers at B&B,but she especially loved spending time with her family andgrandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were ConnerAlbrecht, Parker Edminston, Arron Crenshaw, Mike Price, JeremyPotter, Jerry McChristian, Dude McChristian, and Danny Touchette.
Memorials may be made to the donor’schoice.
