Margaret Elizabeth (Hickerson) Johnson, age 90, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Butterfield Trail Village in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
She married J.W. "Bill" Johnson, April 2, 1949 in Logan County, Arkansas.
She was a long time resident of Springdale, Arkansas and was a member of First Baptist Church (Cross Church).
She was a bookkeeper for Image One Studio in the 1970's and 1980's. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Springdale Garden Club. She loved and owned several dachshunds.
She and he husband, Bill were avid photographers and had a photograph processing room in their home. She loved traveling with her husband on trips to the American west where they photographed beautiful landscapes and Indian ruins. She also traveled with her sister, Evelyn to the Middle East and the Holy Lands. Although she had no children, she loved her family and took pride in her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by Parents; her husband of 52 years; and a brother, Earl Hickerson.
She is survived by a sister, Evelyn (Hickerson) Klein.
She will be honored with a closed casket visition at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale. A brief graveside ceremony will follow at at 3:00 p.m., at Friendship Cemetery.
