He was born June 24, 1931 at Thompson, Arkansas, the son of James Thomas and Effie Mae Jordan Barker. He was a carpenter and a member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Nola McChristian Barker on January 5, 1985. He was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Kathleen Touchette. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A. M. Thursday, August 28, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Steven Gregory officiating. Interment will be in the Walnut Grove Cemetery at Crosses under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be: Jim Touchette, Tim Touchette, Danny Touchette, Paul Barker, Mark Gregory and Tyler Touchette.
