    • Francis's obituary reads:

      Francis Jean McCoy, age 19 died at her home on the Bohannan Mountain on August 19, 1947. She had been ill for the past two years. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim McCoy of the home; (James T. and Shirley McChristian McCoy) two sistsers, Mrs. Verna Eubanks of Springdale and Oretha McCoy of the home. Inher last testimony Miss McCoy declared that she was ready to go. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. by Rev. Cecil Garrison, Baptist Minister of Huntsville, at the Bohannan Mountain Cemetery and burial was in the cemetery there. Arrangements were by the Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville.
