      Otto Christopher McCoy, 83, of Huntsville, died Feb. 6, 2003 at Holland Nursing Center-North in Springdale, Ark. He was born May 30, 1919 at Wesley, Ark., the son of Sheridan and Gertrude McChristian McCoy. He retired from the Sedgwick County Road Department in Wichita, Kan., and was an Army veteran of World War Two, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Christ Lighthouse Church and was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Wilma W. McCarver McCoy on Feb. 8, 2001.
      Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Orin and Debbie McCoy of Huntsville; two daughters and one son-in-law, Linda Steerman of Springdale, Ark., and Felia and Walt Drake of Wichita, Kan.; two brothers, Sanford McCoy of Hindsville, Ark., and Charles McCoy of Huntsville; one sister, Opal Beasley of Huntsville; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
      Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 10, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Bennett officiating. Interment was in the Drakes Creek Cemetery, under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.
      Pallbearers were Mark McCarver, Stanley McCarver, Leonard McCoy, Dwight McCoy, David Richardson and Glyndon Moppin.
