      Francis B. (John) McChristian, 79, of Farmington died Oct. 4, 1984, at his home. He was born Jan. 5, 1905, at Japton, the son of George W. and Martha Louisa Eubanks McChristian. He was a retired service station operator and a member of the Church of Christ at Farmington.
      Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lou McChristian of the home; two sons, Bob McChristian of Oklahoma City and Bill McChristian of Liberty City, Tex.; four daughters, Christine Rouse of Prairie Grove, Doris Thomas of Fort Worth, Tex., Helen Rieff of Farmington and Becky Garrett of West Fork; two brothers, Lester McChristian of Bowling Green, Mo. and Calvin McChristian of Huntsville; two sisters, Mrs. Zola Rogers of Huntsville and Mrs. Ica McConnell of Japton; three stepsons, John Edward England and Donald Fred England, both of Fayetteville and Bobby Dean England of Wash.; two stepdaughters, Helen Grifeith of Ill. and Frances Hester of Fayetteville; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; 16 stepgrandchildren and 16 stepgreat-grandchildren.
      Graveside services were held Monday, Oct. 8, at Cemetery Hill in Farmington with Ed Spurlock officiating. Arrangements were by Nelson's Funeral Home.
