- Ruth C. Latimer, beloved wife, mother and friend, is now resting in the arms of Jesus after a brief and brave battle with recurring cancer.
Born in 1942 to Frank and Lorraine Hall of Butte, Montana, Ruth is survived by her husband Leroy R Latimer, and also: her daughters: Susan (Greg)Johnson of Rapid City SD, Maria of Knoxville TN, Joyce (Matt) Brown, DVM of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Sandra Latimer of Rapid City, SD her sisters: Clara (Jack) Whooley of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and Lorraine Abhold of East Wenatchee, Washington her brothers: James (Stanette) Hall of Ramsey, Montana and Dave (Peggy) Hall of Virginia her cousin and friend Mary Jane Thunstrom (Lloyd) of Oregon many grandchildren and great grandchildren and many dear friends.
Ruth was preceeded in death by her parents, her stepfather James Sloan of Butte, Montana, her sisters Patty (Tony)Antonovich of Butte, Montana, and Frances Nichols of Spokane, Washington, and her brother Don Hall of Butte, Montana.
A fun and loving spouse and mother, Ruth was known for her kindness and generosity as well as her ingenuity. She loved being with family and was an amazing cook and household manager, as well as an author, artist and seamstress. She dearly loved each and every grandchild and great grandchild, spending much time praying for them and giving them thoughtful gifts. They loved her equally well.
