- ROBERT HORN OBITUARY
Robert C. Horn, 80, Kansas City, Kansas passed away February 6, 2018. A service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, February 9, 2018 at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, Kansas 66112. A private burial will take place at a later date in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Conway Avenue Baptist Church, 2215 N. Conway Ave., Mission, TX 78572.
Bob retired as Assistant Chief of the Kansas City, Kansas Fire Department in 1995. He enjoyed being a winter Texan for over 20 years. He was a member of the Delaware #96 Masonic Lodge, Nall Avenue Baptist Church and Conway Avenue Baptist Church.
He was preceded in passing by his daughter, Kimbeth.
Bob is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sherry; daughters, Lora (Tim) Zimmerman, Lynda (Michael) Hershman and Kathie (Bill) Knapp; 8 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
