      Obituary for Joe Wallace McChristian
      Joe Wallace McChristian, 74, of Ozark, Arkansas, died Monday, January 23, 2017 in Ozark. He was a retired Bricklayer and Rancher. He was born August 22, 1942 in Van Buren, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob Jesse and Eva Renfro McChristian; a brother, Jesse McChristian; and a grandson, Timmy Linton.
      He is survived by two sons, James McChristian and wife Carmie of Ozark, and Billy McChristian and wife Annie of Phoenix, Arizona; a daughter, Lisa Linton and husband Tim of Phoenix; a brother, Curtis McChristian of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; two sisters, Kate Hewitt and Sue Moore, both of Mulberry, Arkansas; nine grandchildren: Caitlen and Colton McChristian, Melissa Kipp, Stephanie Gutierrez, R .J. Arney, Jonathon Godbee, Thomas Mahlmeister, and Kellie Owen; and five great grandchildren: Matthew and Brandon Linton, Elisabeth and Lissa Kipp, and Jesse Gutierrez, Jr.
      Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Don Simpson, Sr. officiating under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
