      Robert Lee Wiseman, 75, died on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010.
      His ashes will be inurned in a private service at the Wiseman family plot in Gassville, Ark.

      He was born on Sept. 20, 1934, in Pine Bluff, Ark.
      He will be remembered by many as a 50-year professor of history and geography as well as a storyteller extraordinaire.
      He is survived by two children, Jonna Gail Wiseman Humphries and Eric McQuistion Wiseman of Columbia; grandson Ian Matthew Wiseman of Kansas City; brother William Wayne Wiseman of Cleveland; sisters Mary June Boydston of Fairplay and Julie Ann Mabry of Collins; and many nieces and nephews.
      He was preceded in death by brothers Frank C. and H. David; and parents Frank and Esther McQuistion Wiseman. Their immediate family was known in early vaudeville days as The Wiseman Players.
