      Obituary

      Robert Keith McQuiston passed away Saturday, November 12, 2011, at his home.

      He was born May 15, 1946 in California to the late Earl D. and Viola Hayner McQuiston. Robert served in the United States Air Force. He worked for American Airlines for 29 years.

      In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Earl D. McQuiston, Jr.

      Survivors include his loving wife, Phenia McQuiston; three daughters, Rhonda K Hylton and her husband, Charles Hylton, Jr., Jayne Hylton and her husband, Dwight of Woodbridge, VA, and Laura Dickinson and her husband, Jeff of Manassas, VA; two sons, Anthony Frankman of Abingdon and Timothy Frankman of Goldvein, VA; one brother, David McQuiston, Falls Church, VA; one sister, Linda Baxter and her husband, Craig of Millersville, MD; four grand children, Robert, Madeline and Steven Hylton and Stacy Nobles; one great-grandchild, Rhett Hylton; several nieces and nephew.

      The graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Anthony Frankman, Timothy Frankman, Dwight Hylton, Charles Hylton, Jr., Jeff Dickinson, and Steven Hylton.

      The family will receive friends on Monday, November 14, 2011 from 6-8 pm at the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service, 19415 Lee Highway, Abingdon, VA.

      In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 246, Abingdon, VA 24212.
