- Betty is buried at the home she and Ken McCuistion bought in Gateville, Texas. Ken felt this was fitting as it was to be their home for retirement, and Betty did not get to live there as she died before being able to move into the home.
The marker was placed in White Chapel Cemetery, with her parents, upon the request of her children and the desire for a permanent remembrance for their mother.
