Ronald Lee Jones, Sr., 67, of Tallahassee FL, died peacefully at his home September 17, 2013 attended by Glenda Albritton and his mother Lorena. Ron had six children: Jennifer, Djar, Ron, Jr., Larry, Paris and Kelly, and one grandchild, Nina. Ron was exceptionally talented, a well known artist and photographer, he was also a musician, singer, songwriter, builder, consultant and lawyer, who gave generously of his time to the Jackson Masonic Lodge, Boy Scouts, Red Cross, the Wakulla Correctional Institute as a Mentor, and to the Tallahassee Homeless Center. As a second generation Marine, Ron served in Viet Nam and was awarded a Purple Heart, Cross of Gallantry and the Bronze Star with Valor for heroism. Services will be held this Saturday, 28, 2013, at 11:00 at Cully’s Meadowwood Memorial Park, 700 Timberlane Rd, Tallahassee, FL.
