Patricia A. McQuiston, 83, of East Irving Street, Corry, Pa., died on Friday, January 18, 2013, at Saint Vincent Health Center, Erie, Pa.
She was born on June 2, 1929, in Corry, Pa., a daughter of the late David M. "DM" and Mildred Davison.
Pat was raised and educated in Corry and graduated from Corry High School. Following her marriage, her main priority was raising and caring for her family. She enjoyed listening to music and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death on July 2, 1999, by her husband, Harry McQuiston, whom she married on January 18, 1947, in Clymer, N.Y.; a son, John J. McQuiston on December 10, 1975; three sisters, Helen Kowalski, Charlotte Kinney and Cecilia Nichols; and two grandchildren, Christopher John and Theresa McQuiston.
Pat is survived by two sons, Craig McQuiston of Prescott, Ariz., and Dale Conrad McQuiston; seven grandchildren, Jill, Joseph, Nicholas, Jefferey, Trevor, Shawn and Kory; and three great-grandchildren, Nicholas Jr., Madeline and Grace.
Family and friends are invited to call at the Bracken Funeral Home, 315 N. Center St., Corry, Pa., on Monday from 3:30 p.m. until the time of the memorial service there at 4:30 p.m. The Rev. Trevor McQuiston, Pat’s grandson, will officiate.
Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Corry, Pa.
