The family of Thomas C. Macdonald, 66, of Ladson, regret to announce his death on the evening of Monday, May, 1, 2006 in a local hospital after a lengthy illness. The family has arranged private services through Palmetto Cremation Society.
Mr. Macdonald was born November 26, 1939 in Louisville, Kentucky son of the late Rice Macdonald and Mermon Mc Custiou Macdonald. A veteran of the United States Air Force, he attended the Presbyterian Church. He was a retired collection agent for Seacoast Amusement Company and formerly worked in collections with CNS Bank and also worked at the General Dynamics facility in Goose Creek.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Huff Macdonald; his step-children, Tony Driggers of Walterboro, Eddie Driggers of Ladson, and Kathy Spikes and her husband, Jimmy Scott Spikes, of Summerville. In addition, seven step grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; his half brother, Robert Taylor and half sister, Kippy Fey and her husband, Donnie, of Kentucky also survive.
