    • William had disposed of a wagon load of cotton seed and was in the act of delivering them at the railroad station in Covington, Tipton County, Tennessee. The arrival of a train gave the alarm to the team and while making an attempt to jump from the wagon, Mr. Strain was tripped up by the lines. He lived for another three weeks before succumbing to his injuries.
