      OBITUARY: Sandra Kay McCuistion

      El Dorado, KS - Sandra Kay McCuistion, 58, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2011. Celebration of her life will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity Episcopal Church. Visitation will follow the service from noon to 1:30 p.m.

      Sandra was born March 21, 1953 in Stanley, Kan., the daughter of Harril and Juanita (Lauglin) Summers. Sandy was a tireless advocate for her family, students and friends. She studied the Bible and theology and gained strength from her church family. Sandy loved to write letters to friends create quilts as gifts and play Christmas songs on the piano.

      Survivors include: her husband, David Charles McCuistion of El Dorado; children, Clay and Max Wirestone and grandchild Baxter Charles, of Concord, N.H., Kent McCuistion of Wichita and Caitlin McCuistion of Korla, Xinjiang, China and El Dorado; and sisters, Cynthia and Robert Height of Harrisonville, Mo., and Melinda and Fred Wood of Whitehall, N.Y. Preceded in death by her parents.
