- Obituary for Mark Randall Bailey
Mark Randall Bailey, 64, went home to be with his Lord and Savior early Monday morning, July 28, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Mark was born in Rockingham County, NC on June 7, 1961, to Kenneth Sam and Delores Roberts Bailey. He was a member of Summerfield Baptist Temple and was employed for Camco having worked there for over 20 years. Mark loved bluegrass music, was a gun enthusiast, avid hunter and enjoyed Civil War history. He enjoyed NASCAR with the old drivers, loved collecting cowboy hats, fishing, as well as woodworking. Mark’s nickname was “Ol Hill-Billy” which suited him well. Above all, he loved and cherished his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Sam Bailey.
Mark is survived by his loving wife of 34 years Robin Bullock Bailey; his mother, Delores Roberts Bailey; children, Erin Bailey Broadway (Scott), Benjamin Bailey (Kristina) and Alex Baker (Jamie); grandchildren, Katie Lipford (Harrison), Tyler Jacobs (Kamryn), Rachel Broadway, Khloe Bailey, Abby Moore, Rileigh Baker, Ava Baker, Lydia Broadway, and Joanna Broadway; great grandchildren, Maklynn Lipford and Mazi Baker; sister, Melissa Morphies (Mark) brother, Lee Bailey; and special dog, Sally.
There will be an 11:00am Funeral Service held on Thursday July 31, 2025, at the Summerfield Baptist Temple with Pastor Bobby Wilmoth officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00am on Thursday July 31, 2025, at the Summerfield Baptist Temple, 7904 Winfree Road, Summerfield, NC 27358 and other times at the home of his sister.
