- Wanda O. McCuiston, age 91, died peacefully on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at Landmark Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Booneville, MS. She was born January 30, 1928, in Booneville to Robert Roscoe Bane and Madgeline Smith Bane. She was a retired teacher’s aide. She was a devoted wife and the best mother and mother-in-law anyone could ever hope for. She was dearly loved by her family and friends and never met a stranger. She loved growing flowers and vegetables in her garden. Visitation will be at 1:30pm on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at McMillen Funeral Home and a Celebration of life beginning at 3:30pm Saturday with Bro. Josh Westmorland officiating. Burial will be in Booneville Cemetery. She is survived by her only child, William Beebe McCuiston, and her daughter-in-law, Lani McCuiston, of Gainesville, FL. She is preceded in death by her husband, William C. “Beebe” McCuiston, her sister, Wilda Bane Fugitt, and her brothers, Walter Bane and Robert Bane. Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Cole, Billy Deaton, Billy Martin, Robert Stewart and Chad Walker
