- Obituary for Charles Andrew Lunsford
RICHMOND, Ind. – Charles Andrew Lunsford, age 89, of Richmond, died Saturday, November 21, 2015, at Randolph Nursing Home. Born February 14, 1926, in Richmond, Indiana, to Ralph and Ethel Stolle Lunsford, Charles was a life-long resident of Richmond. He was a 1944 graduate of Richmond High School and attended Earlham College earning a 2-year Associate Degree. Charles retired from Richmond Eaton Gear after 42 years working as a Design Engineer. He enjoyed baseball, playing cards, and shuffleboard in Florida. Survivors include his daughter, Lisa Hubble of North Carolina; son, Michael A. Lunsford of Eaton Ohio; grandchildren, Ian and Brad Lunsford, both of Richmond and Valerie Hubble of North Carolina; sister, Joann Lunsford of Florida; brother, Ron (Shurla) Lunsford of Florida; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Ruth Ann McQuiston Lunsford, who died August 10, 2015; parents; and son, Charles Patrick Lunsford. A private burial for Charles Andrew Lunsford will be at Earlham Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
