      Obituary for Norma Burden
      Norma “Sue” Burden, 76, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died August 10, 2011, at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab. Born June 8, 1935 in Wheeler, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Millard McCuistion and Mackie M. Reel Harrison.   She married Harley Burden in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, on June 8, 1960. She had lived in the Siloam Springs area most of her life, where she was a homemaker and a member of New Life Church, Siloam Springs. Sue was a member of the American Legion. She was preceded in death by her husband Harley Burden in 2003; her parents; and one grandchild.Survivors include two sons, Montgomery Gibbs and Harley “Eddie” Burden, both of Siloam Springs; two daughters, Darlene Lyford of Tallahassee, Florida, and Alyson Rung of Atoka, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother, Harold McCuistion of Longview, Texas; and two sisters, Lee Greathouse of Siloam Springs, and Geraldine Wade of Banderia, Texas.Pallbearers will be Mike Larson, Mike Sealey, Gordon Baril, Brad Stovall, Jim Weaver, and Jim Harrison.Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 13, 2011, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, Arkansas, with Pastor Tim Estes officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 12, 2011, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.
