Dugas ALTO - Graveside services for Franklyn J. Dugas, 85, Coral Gables, Fla., relative of Alto residents, are scheduled for 11:30 a.m. at Old Palestine Cemetery, Alto, under direction of O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Home, Alto. Mr. Dugas died Aug. 16, 2006, in Miami, Fla. He was born March 16, 1921, in Westville, Ill., to Frank E. and Jeanne Vassen Dugas. He was a graduate of the University of Illinois and served in the Army during World War II. He was an accountant in the oil business and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. He had served as a board member of Coral Gables Crime Watch for more than 15 years and was a member of Coral Gables Lions Club. He was preceded in death by wife, Faye Thornton Dugas, and brother, Joseph. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Andrea and Bill Wolek, grandsons Steven and Christopher Wolek, and sister and brother-in-law Marie and John Babich.
