      Gerald “Butch” L. McQuisten, 81, passed away on Wednesday, at the Milwaukee VA Medical Center.
      Butch,was the son of Albert and Pearl (Taylor) McQuisten.
      Gerald proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1953 until his honorable discharge in 1956. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.
      He retired from Chrysler Corporation/General Motors after many years of employment.
      In his spare time, Butch loved being out in the country fishing, camping and hunting. He especially loved being with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He sured loved his Westerns!
      In 1960, he married the love of his life, Edna Hubbard who preceded him in death on Sept. 20, 2013.
      Survivors include his stepchildren, Jackie Littiken, and Keith (Gail) Ritchie; grandchildren, Doug, Claude, Rudy, Cindy (Chris), Sean, Raini (Blake), and Casey; 14 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
      In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by brothers, Floyd, Robert, Jack and Richard Jr., as well as sisters Beverly and Mildred Fritz; stepchildren, Diane Lasik and Dean Bruso; and granddaughter, Tammy.
      Gerald was a good hard-working man and wonderful father and a very loved grandfather.
      Visitation at the Gardens of Rest Cemetery Chapel with military honors by the Delta County Veterans Council. Funeral service with Pastor Louis Hague officiating. Entombment in the Gardens of Rest Mausoleum. Assisted by the Crawford Funeral Homes.
