      Death: Feb. 3, 1937
EDWARD EVERETTE McQUISTION, BORN IN COULTERVILLE, PA ON 9 SEPT. 1860 AND DIED 3 FEB 1937 IN CLENDENIN, KANAWHA CO., WV; MARRIED CHARITY CATHERINE McGLOTHLIN FROM AMMA, ROANE CO., WV. "UNCLE ED" WAS A WONDERFUL MAN WHO HAD A GREAT PERSONALITY, FULL OF LAUGHS AND WORKED IN THE OIL FIELDS. HE WAS A LARGE MAN AND "AUNT CHARITY" WAS A SMALL WOMAN, ABOUT 4'10 AND WIEGHED ABOUT 85 LBS. THEY HAD SO MUCH FUN TOGETHER - THE STORIES SHE USE TO TELL WOULD MAKE YOU LAUGH AND LAUGH. UNCLE ED WAS VERY MUCH IN LOVE WITH AUNT CHARITY AND SHE LOVED HIM. HE IS BURIED BETWEEN THE TWO BIG (NOW) CEDAR TREES THAT AUNT CHARITY PLANTED, BUT THERE ARE NO MARKERS. AT ONE TIME THERE WAS A SMALL HEAD STONE, BUT IT HAS BEEN DESTROYED. ALAS, AUNT CHARITY DIED A FEW YEARS LATER AND HER ONLY SON, WILL TAYLOR, TOOK HER BACK TO VIRGINIA TO BURY HER IN HIS FAMILY PLOT. SHE WANTED TO BE BURIED BESIDE UNCLE ED, BUT HER SON DID NOT FULFILL HER LAST WISHES. I AM SURE SHE IS THERE IN SPIRIT YET TODAY.
