An active member of the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association, John served in numerous capacities including President. He was a member of Southern Hills United Methodist Church. He loved playing golf. He also loved watching golf, the Dallas Cowboys and OSU football. An avid fisherman and hunter, John was a storyteller and no one could tell a fishing or hunting story like him. He loved his friends. He loved fish fries at Buncombe Creek. He loved music. He loved ranching. He loved camping. He loved dancing the jitter bug with Janie. And above all else, he loved his family.
