      FRAZEYSBURG: Russell Junior McQuistion, 81, of Frazeysburg, Ohio, died Thursday morning, December 2, 2010 at his home.
      Born November 26, 1929 in Mifflin Township of Wyandot County, he was the son of the late Russell H. and Opal Marie (Huff) McQuistion. Mr. McQuistion was a self-employed contractor and was a fur trader and seller. He was a member of the Ohio State Trappers Association and the Northwestern Fur Traders Association. He was an avid trapper, hunter and fisherman, but his greatest enjoyment was being with his family.
      Surviving is his wife, Bernice (Ruick) McQuistion whom he married March 28, 1987; three sons, Junior Ray "Jay" (Jamie) McQuistion of Dresden, Ohio, James (Brenda) McQuistion of Atlanta, Georgia, and Gary (Joyce) McQuistion of Round Lake, Illinois; three daughters, Teri Jones of Atlanta, Opal Kramer of Newark, Ohio, and Sherry (Eddie) Davis of Hanover, Ohio; three step sons, Richard (Jean) Boorn of Newark, Charles Boorn and Steven Boorn both of Frazeysburg; two step daughters, Deborah (Mark) Stevens of Newark and Beverly Loughman of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; two sisters, Marie Woosley of Minnesota and Linda (Richard) Warnick of Arizona; eleven grandchildren; twelve step grandchildren; three step great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
      In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Ann McQuistion; five brothers; and two sisters.
      There will be no calling hours.
      A "celebration of life" will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Christ United Methodist Church, 10 North Cedar Street, Newark, Ohio.
