901 | Harriett Ann (Skelton) Hall, 73, of Richmond, died at 5:55 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008, at the Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond, due to complications from diabetes. Ann was born Feb. 16, 1934 in Lexington, the daughter of Arch Mason Skelton, Sr. and Harriett (Oglesby) Skelton. She married Robert Hall of Richmond on Oct. 15, 1952; he survives, of the home. Ann attended William Jewell College. She moved to Richmond in 1989. She was a member of the Henrietta United Methodist Church and the American Diabetes Association. Other survivors include: two daughters, Faith Hall of Richmond and Robin Brooks of Hot Springs, Ark.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Charlotte Dallman and her husband, Max, of Dallas, Texas and Mary Kay Smith and her husband, David, of Littleton, Colo.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and cousins, Congressman Ike Skelton of Lexington, John Skelton of Fla., and James Skelton of Warrensburg. Her parents, and one brother, Arch Mason Skelton, Jr., preceded her in death. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Lexington Memorial Park Cemetery or the Ray County Hospice. Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 25, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
