Frances was the daughter of Linnaus A.F. Henderson and Mable Esther (Staats) Henderson. She spent her younger years in Salem, New Jersey and graduated from Salem High School. Frances started her working years as a Chemical Technician with Dupont. She later relocated to Florida and enjoyed waitressing. This is when she met the love of her life, Carlos F. McCuiston, and they married on April 21, 1950. She was a devoted mother and homemaker, member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a Troop Leader for the Girl Scouts of America. Frances enjoyed dancing to the Big Bands and going to the Florida beaches. She had a passion for sewing, crafting, and spending time with her grandchildren. Frances was predeceased by her husband Carlos F. McCuiston, her mother Mable Barnes, brothers Jack “Jackie” Stanton and William “Billy” Stanton, and sister Stella “Patty” Lacy. She is survived by her daughter Linda Scoville, grandson Walter L. Scoville IV, granddaughter Reagan C. Lonon and husband Casey, as well as brother and sister-in-law Richard and Penny Stanton. Frances will be lovingly remembered by friends and family as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. We will miss you and love you always. A time of visitation will be held on Monday June 19, 2023 from 12:30PM to 1:30PM in the Blount & Curry Funeral Home 605 S. MacDill Avenue Tampa, Florida. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1:30PM with Rev. Angel Luis Rodriguez officiating. Interment will be at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park 4202 E. 2106 | Teresa Darlene Crisp, 61, a lifelong resident of Bradley County, passed away on Friday, Nov. 27, 2020, at the family residence. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Pauline McCuiston Long, and was also preceded in death by her sister, Charlotte Johnson. Teresa was a teller with BB&T Bank in Cleveland, with over 24 years of service. She was an avid gardener, especially loving to cultivate and grow flowers. She attended First Baptist Church of Cleveland. She is survived by her loving husband, Roy L. Crisp; her stepchildren: Shannon Crisp, Howie Crisp and his wife, Kelly, Gina Wiley and her husband, Tom; her sisters: Kathryn Clinton and her husband, Ray, Nancy Johnson and her husband, Mike; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. Teresa’s family also wanted to include her second family, her coworkers at BB&T Bank, who affectionately called Teresa “Reese Cup.” A Remembrance of Life Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020, at First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mike Womack, Michael Alderman and Steve Morgan officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 5 until 7 p.m., at the church. The interment will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the Triplett Family Cemetery, with John Mantooth, Dennis Duggins, Anthony Carell, Adrian Porter, Dan Jones and Scott Berrara serving as casket bearers.
