Joyce Marie Fletcher Jones,61,passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday,September 22,2010.Services will be held Saturday,September 25,2010 at 2P.M. in the Chapel of Reece Funeral Home in Jeffersonville.Burial will be in the Jeffersonville City Cemetery.Rev.Steve Hamrick will officate. Mrs.Jones was born in Moultrie,Georgia the daughter of the late James and Juanita Wishman Fletcher. She was a former Secretary with Independent Life Insurance Company and was formerly with Brown & Williamson in Macon. She was preceded in death by her sister,Sheryl McDavid and by her brother,Jimmy Wishman. The family would like to thank Hospice of Central Georgia for their love and care.
Joyce will always be remembered for her deep love of animals. Survivors include her husband,Vernon Jones;daughter,Karen Marie McCuiston;grandson,Trace Thompson;sisters,Linda(Robert)Richardson and Jackie(Charles)Peacock;several nieces and nephews,aunts and uncles and by many friends who loved her dearly. The family will recieve friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday in the Funeral Home.
