Obituary for Lloyd Elton Hudson
Graveside services for Lloyd Elton Hudson, 85, of Rusk, will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Bro. Kevin Gentry officiating.

Mr. Hudson passed away on December 25, 2021. He was born to the late Hubert and Mary Hudson in Rusk, Texas on November 12, 1936. He graduated Rusk High School in 1956. He served in the United States Army. He loved working outside and never stopped. He enjoyed mowing others yards when they needed to be tended. He was also a family man and adored his children.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lynda Hudson of Rusk, children, Taresa Smith and her husband Troy of Rockdale, Gary Hudson of Rusk, and granddaughter Nicole Smith of Rockdale.

Lloyd married Lynda Carole McCuistion on 13 Aug 1966 in Lufkin, Angelina County, Texas. Lynda (daughter of Herman Lee McCuistion and Ethel Edna Cole) was born on 22 Apr 1945 in Alto, Cherokee County, Texas; died on 18 Feb 2024 in Tyler, Smith County, Texas; was buried on 24 Feb 2024 in Rusk, Cherokee County, Texas.
