    Demetria Virginia (Tipton) McCuiston born March 4, 1934 in Chic, Dyer, Tennessee, to parents Opal (Hogue) and John Tipton. Died March 3, 2023 in North Muskegon, Muskegon, Michigan. She is survived by children, Betty Chaney, Coy Gene (Vicki) McCuiston, Pamela (Al) Geisler, and Mary (Gary) Hurst; 16 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, 27 great great grandchildren with more on the way. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rose Mary Lynn, grandson, Richard Fauble, great great granddaughter, Honesty Williams, parents, and siblings. She retired from Howmet around 1981 and was member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 8, at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. A second viewing will be held on Thursday, March 9 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 18975 Harvey (168th Ave.), followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM . She will be interred at Sunrise Memorial Gardens (2188 Remembrance Dr. Muskegon MI). A graveside service will be at 2:30 PM.

    The name Ford is her actual surname. Her father's name was Ford when born. he changed the name when he moved to Alabama from Tennessee and was known as John Black to all, including family, until a sister tracked him down many years later and the family learned the truth.
