    Longtime truck driver Joseph S. Manning, 46, of Aurora, Ill., died Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora following a sudden illness.
    Locally, he leaves his parents: Buddy J. and Mary E. McCuiston Manning of Buchanan.
    His wife, Tracy L. Stauffer Manning, survives. They were married on May 18, 1990 in Yorkville, Ill.
    A graveside service is planned at 10 a.m. Monday in Lincoln Memorial Park in Aurora.
    Visitation will be 1-4 p.m. Sunday at McKeown-Dunn Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Oswego, Ill.
    Manning was born Nov. 26, 1962, in Murray.
    Besides his wife and parents, he leaves a daughter: Samantha Manning; a son: Jake Manning, both of Aurora; and a brother: Christopher Todd (Laurie) Manning of Batavia, Ill.
    He was preceded in death by a daughter: Danielle Manning; a son: Kyle Manning; his maternal grandparents: Curtis and Virginia McCuiston; and his paternal grandparents: Jim and Opal Manning.
    Memorials may be made to an educational fund for children and sent to P.O. Box 665, Oswego, Ill. 60543-0665.

    Born in Puryear, TN to the late Jim and Opal Orene Bivens Manning. In 1962 he married Mary Ellen McQuiston, she survives, Buchanan.

    Survived by a son: Christopher Todd (Laura) Manning, Illinois; sisters: Linda Carol (Jerry) Jones, Murray, KY, Claudean (Walter) Etps, Puryear; brother: Keith Manning, Lynn Grove, KY; grandchildren: Jake, Samantha and Melanie Manning; several nieces and nephews including two special nieces: Jan Hale and Marie Jones.

    Preceded by two sons: James Lee Manning, at birth, James Sheryle Manning; one sister and three brothers.

    Mr. Manning moved to Batavia, IL in the late 60's where he worked in concrete construction. He was an avid car enthusiast, rebuilding and restoring old cars.

    MARY'S OBITUARY

    Mary E. Manning, age 73 of McKenzie passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Christian Care Center of McKenzie. Her funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday, April 26, 2019 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. James Hazelwood of Bethel Baptist Church in McKenzie officiating. Burial will follow at Birds Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Whitlock. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 PM Thursday, April 25, 2019 at McEvoy Funeral Home and continue after 11:00 AM Friday prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Jake Manning, J.W. Edwards, Kristen Manning, Isaac Manning, Mac McCuiston, and Dan Burnine.
    Mary E. Manning was born November 26, 1945 in Whitlock, Tennessee to the late Curtis Hayden McCuiston and the late Mary Virginia Morris McCuiston. In 1962 she married Buddy Joseph Manning and he preceded her in death on December 31, 2014.
    Ms. Manning is survived by one son, Christopher Todd Manning of Batavia, IL; one daughter-in-law, Tracy Manning of Chattanooga, TN; three grandchildren: Jake (Brea) Manning, Samantha Manning, and Melanie (Joseph) Bemis; two great grandchildren: Hunter Bemis and Kayden Bemis; and one brother, Curtis H. (Peggy) McCuiston, Jr. of McKenzie, TN.
    Besides her parents and husband, Ms. Manning was also preceded in death by two sons: Joseph Sheryl Manning and James Lee Manning who was preceded at birth; and two sisters: Loredda Carol Davis and Ramell Mae Hudgins
