Mrs. Elsie Skaggs Cooper, age 23 years died Wednesday evening at her home near Huntsville. She had been in poor health several months. Funeral services were held at 2:00 o'clock this afternoon at the Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. T. A. Moody. Interment was made in the Huntsville Cemetery, the arrangements were directed by the Bruce Brashears Undertaking Company.
Mrs. Cooper was born and reared in this community. She is survived by her husband, Roy Cooper and a small daughter, also by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Corley Skaggs and one brother, Herman Skaggs of Huntsville. She was buried in Huntsville Cemetery, Madison County, Arkansas.444

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Corrine Canion, Lytle, Texas, a brother Claude Cooper of Gravette; and three grandchildren. Mr. Cooper was a brother-in-law to Herman Skaggs of Huntsville. Funeral services were Wednesday March 24, in Brashears Chapel with the Rev. Noel Easterling officiating. Burial was in Fritts Cemetery near Huntsville under the direction of Brashears.
